Vaikasi Festivals   Vaikasi month or Vaikasi masam is the second month in traditional Tamil calendar followed in TamilNadu.  Vaikasi month is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and many  temple festivals are celebrated during the month.  Vaigasi month corresponds with  Vaishakh month  and Jyeshta month in all lunar calendars followed in North India, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
